The FTC’s October 19 report recorded about $3 billion in 2025 reported fraud losses among people 60 and over. Six-figure losses represented 6% of their loss reports and 70% of their reported losses. [1]

The separate Sentinel programme guide describes a shared investigative tool. Federal, state and local law-enforcement members can access complaints sent to the FTC and reports shared by data contributors; selected international authorities can also use it. The network brings information from different reporting channels into an investigative system. [2]

Age appeared in 46% of fraud reports. The FTC did not take reports October 1–November 13, 2025. This voluntary reporting system cannot establish fraud’s population prevalence. [1]
