Duo app updates arrive in stages

Apple’s October 22 app announcement set October 23 for Duo App Store collections and the Made for iPhone Duo badge. Updates continue through the year: Word and Outlook were promised in coming weeks, Zenless Zone Zero in November and DoorDash later in 2026. Apple’s preparation guide explains why a larger screen alone is insufficient. Apps should resize rather than assume fixed iPhone dimensions, and keep controls clear of the fold and cameras. Standard containers handle much of that adaptation; custom views need reserved-region handling. Apple recommends checking views, sheets and popovers while opening, folding and rotating the phone. In two-app Split View, controls sit along each app’s outer edge. A changed position need not mean a missing function.
