Google’s October 28 update says Gemini’s student hub now offers interactive explorations, including jet engines and the Silk Road. Tapping labels moves through a subject’s layers. Google lists English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and simplified Chinese; other languages receive English. Direct chat access and audio narration were described as forthcoming. The post names no separate price. [1]
Google’s earlier Guided Learning announcement, dated August 6, 2025, described open-ended questions and step-by-step explanations. It included images, diagrams, videos and interactive quizzes. Teachers could share a dedicated link with students. That history gives learners a question-led option when they need to work through a specific problem. [2]
Students’ school accounts require their institution’s administrator to enable Gemini, according to its separate access guide. Personal accounts follow another route; work accounts require a qualifying Workspace edition and users aged 18 or over. An access problem can therefore reflect account policy rather than absence of a newly announced tool. [3]
