Siri AI adds five languages, with device and regional limits still in place
Apple’s October update widens language access. Its broader Apple Intelligence language list does not establish eligibility for every Siri feature.

Apple expanded Siri AI to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish on October 26 with its 27.2 updates. English was already supported. Device eligibility and regional restrictions still apply. [1]
Apple’s October 22 setup guide gives a more concrete hardware check: supported iPhones include 15 Pro models, 16 models or later, iPhone Duo and iPhone Air. It lists iPad mini with A17 Pro and iPads with M1 or later, plus MacBook Neo with A18 Pro and Macs with M1 or later. Apple Watch support starts with Series 9, Ultra 2 or SE 3, paired with an eligible iPhone that has Siri AI enabled. Apple Vision Pro is also listed. These are eligibility requirements, rather than evidence of equivalent performance across devices. [2]
The guide instructs users to match their device and Siri languages, then choose Try Siri AI (Beta) in Siri settings. Setup includes voice enrollment and a privacy-settings review. It describes a waitlist whose duration can vary, followed by automatic download. These instructions identify steps a user must complete, rather than establishing that every eligible person is already enrolled. [2]
The October 26 release remains a beta and excludes users under 13. Siri AI is unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS; four more languages were promised for later this year. [1]
Limits need clarification: the October 26 announcement describes daily cloud limits now. Apple’s September 9 limits guide instead discusses future limits in the context of 2027 software. Neither gives an actual per-user allowance or reset time, leaving that timing unresolved. [1] [3]
The limits guide also promises increased access for a future fee without providing a price. It says allowances can vary with feature, request complexity and system demand. For someone planning repeated assistant requests, the available evidence therefore supports checking the device, language and enrollment route, while treating the size and eventual cost of a cloud allowance as unanswered questions.
