DOJ announced initial federal registrations for more than 900 medical dispensaries on October 30: Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Nevada was not among the named states. [1]

April’s announcement set out a limited Schedule III framework for qualifying medical products, separate from broader marijuana rescheduling. It did not authorize recreational sales or replace federal controls with a state licence. [2]

Recipients came from the order’s initial 60-day filing period; this is not a new 60-day window. State licensure alone does not confer federal registration, and Nevada’s absence does not establish an operator’s status. [1]
