Nintendo’s October Indie World separates playable demos from 2027 releases
Witchbrook received a January date, while new demos offer a nearer way to assess games. Console support and online requirements still differ by title.

Nintendo’s October 28 Indie World presentation covered two different calendars: games and demos announced for that day, and projects scheduled well into 2027. Nintendo said free demos for Haunted Paws, Petal Runner, RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition and Winds of Viridia would arrive on its storefronts that day. Those announcements offer a chance to sample individual games, but they do not mean the full releases are available. [1]
The near-term slate also included Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services, announced for an October 28 Switch launch, and Sword of the Sea for Switch 2 on October 29. A showcase appearance alone therefore says little about when a player can start. The platform named beside each game matters as much as its date: the presentation mixed original Switch releases with games specifically for Switch 2. [1]
Witchbrook illustrates the longer wait. Its official product record lists January 28, 2027, and describes a life simulation built around attending a magical college, completing classes and building relationships in the town of Mossport. That puts it on a different purchasing timetable from the showcase’s same-day releases. Its classes include alchemy, astrology, tarot reading and rituals, linking the school setting to the activities the publisher describes. [2]
The same record distinguishes one person playing on a single system from online cooperation for up to four. That distinction is useful for households planning to play together: four-player support does not establish four people can share one console. Nintendo Switch Online is listed for online play. The product page also identifies download sizes as estimates, so storage planning should use the final listing nearer release. [2]
RACCOIN has a different profile. Nintendo’s Canadian product record lists a November 10 release for Switch 2 and one player on a single system, with Playstack as publisher and Doraccoon as developer. It describes a coin-pusher game with deck-building elements. Its listing also flags gambling themes. Those are more useful checks for a prospective player than assuming every game in a multiplayer-heavy presentation is designed for a group. [3]
The RACCOIN page lists an estimated 800-megabyte download and support for television, tabletop and handheld modes. Before purchasing, readers can compare those fields and the final player count with their own setup. A showcase groups games together for an announcement; the individual product records establish whether a particular release fits a person’s console, storage and plans to play alone or with others.
