Baltimore’s advisory, posted June 17, 2026, planned AFRAM’s 50th-anniversary weekend for June 19–21 in Druid Hill Park. Grove Road’s planned June 17–22 closure extended beyond the festival. [1]
The organizer’s undated FAQ identifies AFRAM as a city recreation-and-parks celebration of African American life and culture. It says admission is free and requires no ticket. Its rain-or-shine description is qualified: a National Weather Service warning for the festival area would prompt an announcement. [2]
MTA and city Circulator shuttles were planned until 10:30 p.m., after the 9 p.m. close. Parking was limited, with an ADA lot. [1]
The organizer’s separate, undated accessibility page describes a grassy field with limited wheelchair paths, designated seating and picnic tables. It says wheelchair rentals are unavailable. These specifics qualify its broad accessibility language: a reserved space does not remove every terrain or equipment constraint. [3]
Plans do not establish completed trips or visitors’ experience. [1] [3]
