The Recording Academy announced the 2026 Grammy nominations on November 7, 2025, with Kendrick Lamar leading on nine. Cirkut, Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga each received seven nominations; Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas, Sabrina Carpenter and Serban Ghenea each had six. [1]

The general-field nominations included Lamar’s GNX, Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM for album of the year. The best new artist field included Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, The Marías, Addison Rae, sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren and Lola Young. [1]

The announcement covered 95 categories across 12 fields. Eligible recordings had been released from August 31, 2024 through August 30, 2025, and the Academy scheduled final voting for December 12, 2025 through January 5, 2026. The November list represented nominations; it did not establish which artists would win at the February ceremony. [1]
