Las Vegas’s October 14 Jackson Avenue update links a digital twin and economic, infrastructure and developer reports, alongside help for Historic Westside owners working through zoning, design and permits. [1]
The city traces that work to the 2016 HUNDRED Plan, developed with UNLV and the community. Physical improvements include wider sidewalks, lighting and shorter crossings; development support addresses a different step: turning land ownership into a buildable project. [1]
A February 17 city account describes the Jackson Street Alliance as legacy landowners and community leaders seeking housing, mixed-use development and small-business opportunities. Community-led ownership is the organizing approach, rather than a completed housing development. [2]
That earlier account identifies federally supported economic, infrastructure and design planning. The distinction matters for the newer tools: a development concept does not count homes delivered or businesses financed. [2]
