Las Vegas’ September 24, 2026 book-festival announcement highlighted cultural and language access in the program scheduled for October 17. The free, all-ages event was planned at Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth Street, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The city described its twenty-fifth festival, rather than reporting attendance at the upcoming gathering. [1]
A panel on literary identity and the Hispanic community was to take place in Spanish. Another discussion addressed parenthood, indigeneity and belonging, with free Spanish-language interpretation available. These were distinct language arrangements: one session’s working language and interpretation for another. Their inclusion documented planned access, without establishing how many people used it. [1]
The announcement also scheduled a family activity room from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with tiny-book making, crafts and activities drawing on stories and cultures. The city presented the festival with support from Nevada Humanities, the library district and county parks and recreation. Fifty exhibitors were expected in the advance notice; actual participation was not independently verified. [1]
