Las Vegas announced September 28, 2026 that registered neighborhood associations could apply for matching grants of up to $10,000 through its Neighborhood Partners Fund. The city listed $100,000 available for that cycle. Community gardens, senior-safety programs and murals were among the examples, not projects already chosen for funding. [1]
Applications were scheduled to open October 12, with a required preliminary application due November 9, 2026. Associations had to match the grant using cash, volunteer effort or donated goods and services. Projects needed to stay within city and neighborhood boundaries and involve residents throughout the work. Those conditions made the program a partnership, rather than an unrestricted cash payment. [1]
Workshop attendance was required, with Spanish-speaking staff available at each session. The city specified online applications and said paper submissions would not be accepted. A board evaluation and five-minute presentations were to precede recommendations for City Council approval in May 2027. Applicants still faced those review stages; the September notice did not name grant winners. [1]
