NASA’s October skywatching guide lists the Moon passing close to the Pleiades star cluster on October 27–28. It suggests looking east in the evening as the pair rises.

Visibility depends on your location, local weather and sky conditions. The monthly guide also reviews earlier October events; those dates should not be confused with the upcoming viewing opportunity.
