California’s November 3 notice calls election-night results tentative: counties process provisional, conditional-registration and mail ballots after polls close. [1]

The statewide total cannot answer whether your own ballot counted. California’s status directory separates those individual inquiries from the aggregate race tally. [3]

California mail ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10. The receipt window does not extend voting. [2]

Use the directory’s county-specific mail or provisional route, online or by telephone. It identifies how to ask whether a ballot counted and, if not, why it did not. [3]

Final county results are due December 3; statewide certification is December 11. Both are 2026 dates. [1]
