SEMA 2026 access: choose the right badge before making plans
The Las Vegas show has separate paths for automotive professionals, working media and Friday public visitors. They are not interchangeable.
SEMA returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center November 3–6, 2026. The organizer lists exhibit hours of 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday. Before planning a full week, check which admission category actually fits your work. [1]
For working media, a website and a camera are not the whole application. SEMA requires proof of editorial affiliation and two or more relevant editorial materials from within the last 12 months, related to the automotive industry, SEMA or AAPEX. Supply genuine examples and wait for approval; submitting an application does not establish accreditation. [2]
For people outside the industry, the 2026 public-day ticket card offers Friday, November 6 access from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. It advertises a standalone $130 ticket with no hidden fees for visitors age 16 or older, without concert access. It requires matching government-issued photo ID and personal ticket pickup, and says there are no day-of purchases. Check the live ticket terms before paying. [3]
A practical planning check: save the admission confirmation, identify its permitted date and access areas, and make sure the name matches the required ID. Keep show-floor access and concert access as separate items in your plan. Do not treat a promotional code, invitation or registration link as proof of free admission until the qualifying category and final price are clear. [3]
This is a source-based planning guide, not a registration service or a promise of admission. NewsTumble has not verified an unrestricted free public full-show pass. The public-day page retains older hours in its navigation; use the clearly labeled 2026 ticket details and confirmation, and resolve any conflict with the organizer before travel. [3]
