The U.S. Department of State publishes destination travel advisories for U.S. travelers. Its travel advisory hub includes a map, country-specific notices and links to planning resources.

Read the full destination page rather than relying on a level number alone. Check the issue date, location-specific risks and any recent changes before booking and again before departure.

This is a guide to an official resource, not an assessment of a particular destination or a guarantee of safety.
